Since registering as a Gyoseishoshi in 2002, I have kept my office in front of Ichigao Station in Aoba-ku, Yokohama. I started with construction business licenses and industrial waste permits, and have since broadened the fields I handle to include medical corporations, foreign workforce, subsidies and inheritance.
Over these 24 years, I have watched the same clients’ businesses grow — the first license at founding, a growing workforce, succession to the second generation, diversification into new lines. At each of these turning points, I see my role as carefully doing everything a Gyoseishoshi can.
A license may look finished once the paperwork is assembled, but the real work is building in “what happens next.” Renewals, annual business reports, category additions, business succession. We prepare today’s documents with the procedures that will follow the application already in mind. Sharing this perspective with our clients is at the heart of what we do.

The principal takes part in local networks of business leaders. By exchanging perspectives and information that a professional practice cannot reach on its own with local company owners, we aim to bring that back into how we support our clients.

A message from the principal
Our work begins with providing information we can take responsibility for. If we press ahead pretending to understand what we do not, an application may pass, but distortions surface later. Explaining things only after we have checked the basis is the underlying stance of the whole office.
Business and life have their turning points — starting a venture, hiring people, expanding your facilities, handing over to the next generation, becoming the one who leaves something behind. I believe a Gyoseishoshi’s role is to stand beside you at each of these turns.
We are not a large office, and precisely because of that the same faces can keep looking after you. We will continue to cherish what it means to have stayed in the same place for 24 years.
